We provide an excellent staff, 16 acres of wooded trails, a live animal display and a beautiful "fairy tale" style Stone House education center. Each week of camp has its own nature theme. Camp is $175 per week plus $15 per "Lunch Bunch" day chosen.

Guided Paddles are a great way to experience the Meadowlands. Enjoy a leisurely, two-hour paddle through the marshes of the Sawmill Creek Wildlife Management Area with an experienced guide. In addition to sightseeing and wildlife watching, you will learn about the natural and human history that has shaped the region.

Where: Outside at the arboretum.
Participants should bring a towel, water and plenty of energy! No preregistration necessary. All participants will receive free giveaways from prAna and other local stores. In the event of inclement weather, call the arboretum at 973.376.3587 as classes might be relocated indoors to the Short Hills CAN DO.

Enjoy a stroll through history at the New Jersey State Botanical Garden. Skylands Manor was designed in the mid-1920's in the Tudor Revival style by the distinguished American architect John Russell Pope whose works include the National Archives and the National Gallery of Art.

At the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum trails pass kettle moraines, hilly slopes and a natural amphitheater created by glaciers. Our grounds host approximately 100 species of New Jersey native wildflowers and are home to over 40 varieties of trees, many species of birds, an array of ferns, a 100 year old tulip tree and an 80 foot umbrella magnolia.
