The Environmental Eagles is a group of students who are interesting in working on solutions to a variety of environmental issues. Current projects include local stream cleanups, water quality testing, monitoring native and invasive plants, and public education. Members will help care for the Arboretum’s animals, engage in discussions and participate in community service.

The older students will get the opportunity to learn by teaching and monitoring the younger ones and by helping to develop materials for after-school clubs. The club fosters leadership skills and at the same time gives participants the chance to do something important within the community where they live. When a student has completed ten sessions they will receive an official Environmental Eagle T-shirt and badge.
